Despite all the goodbye hugs and well wishes I've received in the past week or so, it still hasn't registered. We're leaving in less than 48 hours. I've packed up all of my clothing into giant duffel bags and suitcases, I've said farewell to many lovely people, but I know I won't feel it until I'm a Swiss train watching the Alps whizz past.
For those of you who don't know, I am a dual citizen between USA and Switzerland (thanks to Billy, Mary and Willi Lehner.) I am going to school in Lucerne (Luzern in German,) Switzerland this upcoming year at Kantonsschule Musegg Luzern http://www.ksmusegg.ch/. Lucerne is a German-speaking city of about 59,500 in central Switzerland. I have already started learning high German, which I will be speaking in school and is played on radio, TV, etc.
