I don't know if it was the fact that officially NEXT month I will be leaving my Wisconsin home yet again for a new and exciting adventure, but last night (July 1st) it briefly hit me. I will be leaving for the other side of the world.... Europe..... Switzerland.... Lucerne, which happens to be 4,463 miles from Blue Mounds, WI. And that feeling of the complete and udder
unknown gripped me. The excitement mingled with apprehension that gives you
butterflies all the way to your toes. Let me tell you, as pleasant as that may
sound, mixed with this sweltering heat Wisconsin is experiencing right now, it
was not.
Despite my anxiety I am ready. I'm ready to have my own experience, as I know
both of my crazy, lovable parents have. (Probably enough for several people
between the two of them.) And along my journey I will keep you wiscodanites,
and whoever else, up to date on my activities in the Land of the Alps, Chocolate
and of course, Cheese.
